The co-living sector, which encompasses developments that offer living spaces with communal facilities, and programmes that foster community, is a promising sector in Singapore that has blossomed particularly after the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite being in its nascent stage, there are currently some 20 active co-living players and more than 9,000 co-living rooms in the market.

Originally catering to expatriates, international students, and travellers, the sector is gaining attention from longer-stay residents, including local Singaporeans.
